Prepare a quite solid sauce with 4 cloves of mashed garlic, a bunch of minced parsley, salt, pepper, 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 2-3 tablespoons of oil and the same quantity of vinegar.
Choose green and sane lettuce leaves (middle size), wash and drain them carefully: in each leaf put a tablespoon of abundant sauce and 2-3 anchovies (cleaned, without bones and heads). Close the leaves and place them in a greasy baking pan, one leaf next the other.
Before baking, sprinkle a little vinegar and breadcrumbs. Put in a moderate oven for 30-45 minutes.
