You can find ovolo mushrooms (ovolo buono, Amanite family) also in Sicily. They got this name because when they sprout from the ground they have a yellow-orange head standing on a white volva: just like a hard-boiled egg with the red yolk inside and the white outside.
Wash delicately and drain the ovolo mushrooms. Cut them into thin slices, dress with salt, oil, pepper and a little lemon juice.
