Typical recipe from Syracuse.
In a pan put abundant oil and 4 cloves of minced garlic and let them cook until transparent; add 8 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, fry them and stir until golden brown. Now add 1 kg. of peppers (previously roasted, peeled and cut into thin strip); stir well, put salt and pepper, ½ glass of vinegar and a tablespoon of capers. Keep on a high fire until vinegar is evaporated. Serve cold.
